How to use SML.IT

1. Open SML.IT in Workspace

Sign in to Alterno Workspace and choose SML.IT from the menu. On your phone, it's under More.

2. Create a link

• Title: a name only you will see, for example "Fall campaign, Instagram".
• Destination: the full address people should go to (it must start with https://).
• Short name: what goes after smlit.co/, for example "ct2026". Use something short and easy to read.
• Campaign (optional): to group related links.

3. Share it

Copy the link, for example smlit.co/ct2026, and paste it into posts, messages, emails or print.

4. Check the results

In SML.IT, check the clicks, unique people, countries, devices and where visits come from. You can change the date range and compare it with the previous period.

5. Privacy

Only you can see your links and stats. Alterno administrators can also see them, to give support.

Tips

• Make a separate link for each place you share it, so you can see which one works best.
• Turn off a link if the campaign is over. Anyone who opens it will see "Link unavailable."
• Don't change where a link goes after it's been printed unless you need to.
