Terms of use

1. About the service

SML.IT (smlit.co) is the short link service of Alterno Agency, built by Alterno Group. It takes visitors from a short address to a destination page.

2. Who can create links

Only authorized Alterno employees can create and manage links, using Alterno Workspace. Anyone can open a public short link. There is no public list of links and nobody outside Alterno can manage them.

3. Acceptable use

Links must not be used for:

• Phishing, malware, fraud or spam.
• Illegal content or content that infringes someone's rights.
• Hiding where a link really goes in a way meant to mislead.

Alterno can turn off or remove any link at any time, without notice.

4. Destination pages

Destination pages belong to third parties and have their own terms and privacy policies. Alterno is not responsible for their content or availability.

5. No warranty

The service is provided "as is." Links may stop working, be changed or be turned off. To the extent the law allows, Alterno is not liable for damages resulting from using the service.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
